Motion Control Capabilities

Control actuation systems (CAS) engineered for aerospace and defense applications, integrating motors, gearing, sensing, electronics, and qualification support.

Engineered for excellence

Our Motion Controls business unit provides custom engineered Control Actuation Systems (CAS) for military and aerospace applications that require high reliability in challenging environments.  Control Actuation Systems include motors, gearing, position sensing, canard/fin mechanisms, and the associated electronics.  We have developed miniaturized CAS electronics that provide motor control, power conditioning, telemetry, weapons data functions, and host mission software.

The Motion Controls business unit designs and manufactures custom-engineered, integrated or modular, high–power-density Control Actuation Systems (CAS) for military and aerospace applications requiring precise, reliable performance under extreme environmental, and operational conditions.

These proven electromechanical actuation systems support missiles, guided projectiles/munitions/ rockets, and other high-performance platforms requiring mission-critical control authority.

Our engineering team develops customized, high-efficiency electromechanical actuator solutions with advanced miniaturized electronics, through fully integrated on-site design, analysis, verification, validation, and qualification of mechanical, electrical, and software/firmware elements.
